After a long and really warm flight we have landed in Incheon, South Korea. My boyfriend and I flew all the way from Frankfurt [Germany] to here. It took approximately 11-12 hours of flying.
Incheon National University (INU) has this buddy program where they pair one volunteer Korean student to an exchange student to help them with administrative things and other questions they might have. It’s quite nice when you’re new in a country.
Even though the start was rocky, we quickly turned it around. After picking up my buddy at the other terminal, we drove to campus. Our buddies helped us check in at the Dormitory Administration Office. After dropping our luggage in our rooms we went to our first (of many) trips to Lotte Mart. They have everything there! We bought bedding and other neccesities. Finally they took us to a really nice tonkatsu place in Timespace, Songdo.
